The TikTok integration
Texicon Social can post video to your own TikTok account at a time you choose. This page explains what we request access to, what we store, and how you turn it off again.
What the integration does
You connect your own TikTok account to your workspace. Everything goes through TikTok's official API.
Once the account is connected you can schedule video in the calendar, and the service uploads it to TikTok when it is due.
- Uploads video that you added to the service yourself.
- Publishes it to your account at the time you set.
- Reads the account name and profile picture, so you can see which account you post to.
- Shows whether the upload succeeded or failed.
Scopes we request
When you connect, TikTok shows a consent screen listing exactly what you grant. We only request what the service needs in order to publish.

Data we store
We store what is needed to publish for you, and nothing beyond that.
- The access token and refresh token from TikTok. We never receive your password.
- Account ID, username and profile picture as TikTok provides them.
- The video and caption you scheduled, until you delete the post.
- Publishing status and error messages, so you can see what happened.
What we do not do
We do not read your messages, do not follow accounts on your behalf, and do not download other people's content. We do not use your videos to train models, and we never share TikTok data with other customers or sell it on.
Connecting and disconnecting
You control the connection yourself, both ways, without contacting us.
How to connect
- Log in at postiz.texicon.no.
- Go to channels and choose to add TikTok.
- You are sent to TikTok and log in there.
- Read the requested scopes and approve.
- You are sent back, and the account is ready in the calendar.
How to disconnect
Inside Texicon Social you remove the channel from the workspace, and we delete the token immediately, so the service can no longer post for you. You can also revoke the access inside TikTok, under security and app settings.
To have everything we hold about you deleted, email hei@texicon.no from the address the account is registered on. We delete within 30 days, and backups within 90 days.
Posts already published on TikTok must be deleted in the TikTok app. That is outside our control.
